sjöhäxan A triumphant cosmic journey alight with Norse inspiration. Each elements is represented through a variety of textures and although each track carries into each other, there are gorgeous creative choices in each track that makes them stand on their own, from jaw harp to throat singing. A perfect release for a meditation through the cosmos. Favorite track: Wind (Alfheim).

Chattox A tour de (elemental) force(s)! This is an excellent example of how to create an album that is sonically diverse but has enough related musical and thematic ideas running through it to ensure that it is unmistakably coherent and cohesive. Favorite track: Yeast (Vanaheim).

emanuele127 A terrific release that mixes in a compelling way the tropes of Dungeon Synth with unique elements, such as throat singing and jaw harp. The alchemical journey through the Norse cosmos contributes to the mystery and magic of this gem of a debut. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Wind (Alfheim).

An Goblin a diverse and unusual journey, at times disturbing and comforting, dark and light. Favorite track: Salt (Asgard).

windgeist This album offers 10 different meditations on the 9 realms of norse cosmology as well as on the world tree who connects all of them.
Simple but beautiful melodies combined with some well chosen ambience sounds bring you in a trance like state and allow you to let your imagination fly through the realms like Allfathers ravens do. Favorite track: Venom (Helheim).

This album began in March of 2022. It has taken me much longer than I thought it would to complete these tracks, but that is the way of journeys more often than not. This album represents an expression of my direct experiences with the realms and elements of Norse spiritual tradition, translated through my inept fingers. Please listen and enjoy.

An important note: much of the Norse tradition has been coopted and used by horrible people for truly disgusting ends. Fascists, Nazis, and hateful ideologies are not welcome here, this music is not for you. Get tae fuck!

This is a long list of thanks, and please understand that my memory is truly terrible. First, I want to thank Amber, for being an excellent partner, and Finn, for being the “helpful” and distracting child that you are. I could not have done this without either of you!
